Kathy Lafferty
Kathy Lafferty has served as the Executive Director of Cambridge Community
Center for the last 13 years. She has more than 22 years as a teacher or
administrator in publicly or privately funded child development programs,
as well as several years as a licensed family home day care provider. Ms.
Lafferty is currently the chair of the Contra Costa County Local Planning
Council for Child Development and has served on the State Board of the California
Child Development Administrators Association, including as its president
and legislative advisor. She has a BA in Literature from San Francisco College
for Women. Ms. Lafferty enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren
and creating clay sculpture, gardening, and home improvement.
