Cheri Pies
Cheri Pies, MSW, DrPH, is the Director of the Family, Maternal and Child Health
Programs for Contra Costa Health Services. In this capacity, she is responsible
for management, coordination and oversight of a range of programs designed
to address and meet the needs of families, pregnant and parenting women,
children, and adolescents in Contra Costa County.
Cheri has worked in the field of family health, with an
emphasis on maternal, child and adolescent health for close
to 30 years. Cheri received her Masters in Social
Work from Boston University (1976), her Masters in
Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley
(1985), and her DrPH in Health Education from U.C. Berkeley
(1993).
