Programs
Contra Costa County Office of Education/Local Planning Council – offers programs and incentives for providers in state subsidized programs through AB212, assists with translation of foreign transcripts, provides technical assistance for permit applicants and processes permit applications for the state of California, holds workshops and classes for home- based providers, teen parents, foster youth, and other special populations.

Contra Costa Child Care Council – offers programs and technical support to providers seeking assistance with licensing, accreditation, permit applications, workshops and other professional development. The Child Care Council sponsors the Annual Child Care Conference and supports Family Child Care Associations outreach activities.
Family Child Care Associations provide outreach to family child care and unlicensed home care providers to promote participation in professional development opportunities, Association meetings and events, permit applications and scholarship information.
