First 5 Contra Costa provides Family-Friendly Community Grants
up to $10,000 for local projects that benefit children age
five and younger and their families.
Clean up Your Neighborhood, Improve Your Community (up to
$5,000)
Promote Healthy Active Lifestyles and Healthy Nutrition
Habits (up to $5,000)
Improve Your Neighborhood Park or Playground (up to $10,000)
Provide
Education and Training for Parents and Caregivers (up
to $5,000)
Coordinate Community Gatherings, Health Fairs, or Celebrations (up
to $5,000
Conduct Literacy Projects (up to $3,000)
Non-profit organizations, community groups with at least five people, city agencies,
public adult schools, and public libraries are eligible. |
