Preschool Makes a Difference
A strategic plan to provide high quality, voluntary preschool for all 3- to 5-year-olds in Contra Costa County.

Given that there is tremendous public support for preschool in California, First 5 Contra Costa embarked on a process to develop a Strategic Plan to guide the implementation of Preschool Makes a Difference (PMD) in our county. The Contra Costa County Office of Education, the Contra Costa Child Care Council, and the Contra Costa County Employment & Human Services Department are co-sponsors of the planning effort. A second draft of a plan was completed in March 2007 and the final plan was completed May 1, 2007.
