Description
The Professional Development Program for FY 2010-11 is undergoing some changes. Check back soon for the latest information.
Results
- 1,000 child care providers took college classes or professional development activites with support from First 5.
- 318 providers received a stipend when they increased their education and completed quality improvement projects. 75% worked in low-income communities or ares with low child care suppply. Nearly one-third were family child care providers.
- 20 providers earned an AA, BA or graduate degree.
