Central County Regional Group
Mission Statement:
To stimulate the physical, emotional and brain development of young children by organizing a variety of educational activities and advocating for healthy, safe and family friendly communities.
The Central County Regional Group is best known for its annual “Healthy & Active Kids! Multicultural Family Fair” that we organize every year in Concord. The fair is completely free and offers a variety of fun, health-centered and educational entertainment for young children. Parents also enjoy a wealth of valuable resource information. The “Healthy & Active Kids! Fair” will be held on June 21st, 2008 at Ellis Park!.
The Central County Regional Group is committed to reducing childhood overweight and obesity. The Group is currently exploring partnerships with different agencies to offer free/affordable sports classes to young children.
