Meet Tigo | Presentamos a Tigo

TIGO is a new tool designed by First 5 Contra Costa to help parents be their child’s first and most important teacher. This practical resource contains high-quality children's books, learning materials, and fun, engaging activities that encourage parents to talk, play, and read with their young children. All contents are bilingual, in English and Spanish.

TIGO is for children 18 months to 5 years olds living in eligible communities on Antioch, Bay Point, Concord, Pittsburg, Richmond and San Pablo.

Our goal is to distribute 8,500 TIGO kits over the next four years to children who are not enrolled in center-based child care or preschool prior to kindergarten.
