First 5 Contra Costa has developed a Policy Platform stating our positions on selected policy issues.  Our intent is to provide leadership and build consensus on issues that affect Contra Costa’s young children and families at the local, state, and federal levels.

Inclusion in the Policy Platform does not mean a policy issue or program area it represents will be or must be funded by Proposition 10, nor does it mean that we will address every issue in the Platform. The Policy Platform is designed to be a living document that evolves each year to fit our interests and needs as we carry out our mission.
